What to include with a hospital order
A hospital is a busy place, and a complete address helps your flowers reach the right bedside. When you order, please include:
- the patient's full name, as it appears on their hospital registration
- Credit Valley Hospital, 2200 Eglinton Avenue West, Mississauga
- the unit or floor and the room number, if you know them
- a phone number for you, in case we need to check a detail
- your message for the free handwritten card
Patients are sometimes moved between rooms or discharged sooner than expected. If you are unsure of the room or how long they will stay, call our studio at 905-677-9999 before you order and we can talk through the best timing, or send the flowers to their home instead.
Check before you send
Some hospital units, such as intensive care, do not allow fresh flowers or plants in patient rooms. Before you order, it is worth checking with the family or the patient's unit that flowers are welcome. If they are not, a bouquet waiting at home when the patient returns is a lovely way to welcome them back.
Flowers that suit a hospital room
Hospital rooms have little space, so a compact arrangement in a vase is usually the most practical choice. It arrives ready to display and does not need the patient or nurses to find a container. Our get well flowers are bright, cheerful designs made for exactly this. For a longer stay, a potted plant needs very little care, if the unit allows plants. For more tips, read our guide to sending flowers to someone in hospital.
Celebrating a new arrival? Our new baby flowers come in soft pinks, blues and mixed colours for the new family. Our best sellers are another easy place to start.
