Birchmount Hospital Flower Delivery
Mystic Flowers delivers get well flowers and plants to patients at Birchmount Hospital, in the Agincourt neighbourhood of Scarborough. Every arrangement is hand-arranged by our florists in our Mississauga studio, and every order includes a free handwritten card.
About the hospital
Birchmount Hospital is an acute care hospital and part of Scarborough Health Network. It stands at 3030 Birchmount Road, near Finch Avenue East, and it has an emergency department. The Salvation Army opened it in 1984 as Scarborough Grace Hospital, and it was later known as The Scarborough Hospital, Grace Division. If a family mentions an older name, it is the same building.
Delivery to Birchmount Hospital
As part of Toronto, Scarborough is in both of our delivery zones, so we deliver from Monday to Saturday and on Sundays too. Same-day delivery is available on fresh flowers, orders of $50 or more are delivered free, and orders under $50 have a $15 delivery fee. You get an email as soon as your flowers have been delivered. Check before you send
Hospital units set their own rules about flowers, and those rules can change. Units caring for very ill patients, or those with weakened immune systems, may not accept fresh flowers or plants. Please check with the family, or call the hospital's main line at 416-495-2400. If the answer is no, consider sending flowers to the home instead, so they are waiting when the patient returns.

What to send
Keep it small enough for a bedside table, and in its own vase or basket so nobody has to find one. Soft colours and light scents are usually kindest in a shared room.
