Centenary Hospital Flower Delivery
Mystic Flowers delivers get well flowers, plants and cheerful arrangements to patients at Centenary Hospital in the east end of Scarborough. Our studio is in Mississauga, every arrangement is hand-arranged by our florists, and every order includes a free handwritten card.
About the hospital
Centenary Hospital is part of Scarborough Health Network. It opened on July 1, 1967, and it was named for the 100th anniversary of Canada. It stands at 2867 Ellesmere Road, near Neilson Road, and it has 307 beds. It is an acute care hospital with an emergency department and care that includes surgery, cardiac care, cancer care, mental health, children's care, obstetrics, and inpatient rehabilitation and complex continuing care.
Delivery to Centenary Hospital
Scarborough is in both of our delivery zones, so we deliver to the hospital from Monday to Saturday and on Sundays. We offer same-day delivery of fresh flowers, delivery is free on orders of $50 or more, and orders under $50 have a $15 delivery fee. We email you as soon as your order has been delivered. If your flowers need to arrive at a set time, call our studio at 905-677-9999 before you order.

Before you send flowers
Each unit has its own rules, and they can change. Critical care and units caring for patients with weakened immune systems may not allow fresh flowers or plants. Ask the family first, or call the hospital's main line at 416-284-8131. If flowers are not allowed, a bouquet waiting at home is a thoughtful welcome back.
A longer stay in rehabilitation
Patients in rehabilitation or complex continuing care may be at the hospital for weeks, so a bouquet can brighten a room for only part of that time. A small plant from our potted plants and succulents keeps going for much longer, if the unit allows plants. Sending something new every so often is another way to keep their spirits up, and it gives the family something to talk about at a visit.
