About this bouquet
This is a lovely urn piece designed with pink, lavender, purple and green flowers. Pink carnations, lisianthus and snapdragons mix with lavender roses, pink roses, purple liatris, green button mums and green spider mums. Lovely.
Trim stems at an angle and place in fresh water right away. Change water every 2 days, keep out of direct sun, and use the included flower food on day 3.

A floristry-grade nutrient packet, slipped into every order. Mixed with fresh water on day one, it can extend the life of your blooms by up to three weeks.
02 / How to keep them
A six-step ritual.
Five quiet minutes when your bouquet arrives, then two minutes every other day. With this routine, fresh blooms can hold for up to three weeks.

Unwrap with care
Untie the kraft wrap and gently free each stem. Strip any leaves that would otherwise sit below the waterline — they cloud the water and shorten vase life.

Trim the stems
Cut roughly two centimetres from each stem on a 45-degree angle. The diagonal cut opens up a wider drinking surface and stops the stem from sealing against the base of the vase.
Use sharp shears or a clean kitchen knife. Dull blades crush the stems and block water uptake.

Fill the vase
Cool, clean tap water — about two-thirds full. Avoid hot water; it shocks the stems and accelerates wilting.

Add the flower food
Tear open the included packet and stir the full contents into the vase. The blend feeds the blooms, balances the water's pH, and slows the bacteria that turn vase water cloudy.
One packet per vase is enough. If you split your bouquet across two vessels, ask us — we'll send a second packet free.

Place thoughtfully
Out of direct sun. Away from radiators, draughts, ripening fruit, and the top of a working television. Cool, even light is what fresh flowers prefer.

Refresh every two days
Pour out the old water, rinse the vase, and re-trim the stems by half a centimetre. Top up with fresh, cool water. Two minutes of attention is the difference between ten days and three weeks.
