Flowers for Etobicoke General Hospital

Mystic Flowers delivers get well flowers, plants and cheerful arrangements to patients at Etobicoke General Hospital in north Etobicoke. Our studio is next door in Mississauga, every arrangement is hand-arranged by our florists, and every order includes a free handwritten card.

About the hospital

Etobicoke General Hospital is part of William Osler Health System, along with Brampton Civic Hospital and Peel Memorial. It opened in 1972 at 101 Humber College Boulevard, near Highway 27, and it serves the northwest corner of Toronto. Inside you will find an emergency department, surgery, critical care, cardiac and kidney care, mental health services, palliative care and care for women and children. It also acts as a first responder during medical crises at Toronto Pearson International Airport, just to the south. With that many programs in one building, a clear name and room number help your flowers reach the right bedside.

Delivery to Etobicoke General Hospital

Etobicoke is in both of our delivery zones, so we deliver to the hospital Monday to Saturday and on Sundays. We offer same-day delivery of fresh flowers, delivery is free on orders of $50 or more, and orders under $50 have a $15 delivery fee. We email you as soon as your order has been delivered. If your flowers need to arrive at a set time, call our studio at 905-677-9999 before you order.

What to include with your order

  • the patient's full name, as the hospital has it on record
  • Etobicoke General Hospital, 101 Humber College Boulevard, Etobicoke, M9V 1R8
  • the unit or floor and the room number, if the family has shared them
  • your own phone number, in case we need to check a detail
  • your card message, signed with your name

Check the unit first

Hospital units set their own rules about flowers, and those rules can change. Critical care and units looking after patients with weakened immune systems may not allow fresh flowers or plants. A quick word with the family, or a call to the hospital's main line at 416-747-3400, will settle it before you order. If flowers are not allowed, a bouquet waiting at home is a lovely welcome back.

What suits a hospital room

Bedside tables fill up quickly, so a compact design in its own vase or basket is usually the best choice, and gentle scents are kinder in a shared room. Start with our get well flowers or our flowers and gifts under $60. For a longer stay, a plant from our potted plants and succulents can go home with the patient afterwards, if the unit allows plants. Our guides to sending flowers to someone in hospital and get well flowers have more ideas, including what to write on the card.
