About the hospital
Brampton Civic Hospital is part of William Osler Health System. It opened in 2007 at 2100 Bovaird Drive East, near Bramalea Road in north Brampton. It is a full-service hospital with one of the busiest emergency departments in Canada, and it offers critical care, cardiology, surgery, kidney care, cancer care, mental health services and one of the largest labour and delivery programs in Ontario. Because it is such a big campus, a clear name and room number make a real difference.

- your card message, signed with your name
Is the unit accepting flowers?
Each unit sets its own rules, and they can change. Intensive care, and units caring for patients with weakened immune systems, may not allow fresh flowers or plants. Before you order, ask the family or call the hospital's main line to check. If flowers are not allowed, a bouquet delivered to the patient's home is a lovely welcome back.
Flowers for a new baby
With one of the largest birthing programs in the province, Brampton Civic sees new families arrive every day. Many parents go home within a day or two, so check with the family before you send to the hospital. Our new baby flowers are bright and cheerful, and our guide to new baby flowers explains when to send them to the hospital and when to wait until the family is home.
Choosing get well flowers
A compact design in its own vase or basket is easiest on a bedside table, and gentle scents are kinder in a shared room. Browse our get well flowers and our flowers and gifts under $60, or choose a plant from our potted plants and succulents for a longer stay if the unit allows plants. Our guides to sending flowers to someone in hospital and get well flowers have more ideas, including what to write on the card.
