About the funeral home

Vescio Funeral Homes is family owned and operated. Luigi Vescio Sr. and his wife Rose opened the first location, on Weston Road in Woodbridge, in 2002. The Toronto chapel on Dufferin Street, north of Rogers Road, followed in 2012, and the Maple chapel, north of Major Mackenzie Drive, opened in 2019. The family arranges traditional funerals, burials, cremations and celebrations of life, and the Maple team serves families of all cultures and faiths.

Which chapel?

Because Vescio has three locations, please check the death notice for the chapel before you order, and write it clearly in your order:

Toronto Chapel: 2080 Dufferin Street, Toronto
Woodbridge Chapel: 8101 Weston Road, Woodbridge
Maple Chapel: Maple, Vaughan. Please give us the address from the death notice.

If the funeral service is held at a church, the death notice will usually name it. Larger tributes such as standing sprays generally go to the chapel for the visitation, so the family sees them before the service.

Delivery to Dufferin Street, Weston Road and Maple

Toronto and Woodbridge are both in both of our delivery zones, so we deliver to the Toronto and Woodbridge chapels Monday to Saturday and on Sundays. Maple is on our delivery map too. We offer same-day delivery of fresh flowers, and delivery is free on orders of $50 or more. Funeral flowers go directly to the funeral home, so please add the drop-off time in the order notes at checkout. We email you as soon as your order has been delivered.

Choosing a tribute
