A village of bridges
Woodbridge began as Burwick, named for Rowland Burr, who laid out the village in 1837. It needed a new name in 1855, when it applied for a post office and found another Burwick in the province. The name Woodbridge suited the many bridges over the Humber River, and it stuck. The fall fair has been held here since 1847. Today, Woodbridge covers about a third of Vaughan and is well known for its Italian Canadian community.
For a birthday, an anniversary or a thank you, our best sellers and flowers and gifts under $60 are a good place to start. Our roses are a classic for an anniversary, our new baby flowers are a cheerful welcome, and our gift baskets are made to order and need at least one day's notice. Every order includes a free handwritten card.
Flowers for someone in hospital
For a patient at Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital, our page for the hospital has the address and what to include. Our get well flowers are a good place to start.
Sympathy and funeral flowers in Woodbridge
Funeral flowers are delivered directly to the funeral home. In Woodbridge, we deliver to the Woodbridge Chapel of Ward Funeral Homes on Highway 7, and to the Weston Road chapels of DeMarco Funeral Home and Vescio Funeral Homes. Please add the funeral home and the drop-off time in your order notes at checkout. Many families hold a visitation at the funeral home and a Mass at their own parish, so check the death notice for where each part takes place. Browse our standing sprays, casket sprays and all sympathy and funeral flowers.
Order directly from the florist
