Flowers for a funeral or a cremation
Because burial and cremation families are both served at this address, it helps to check the death notice before you choose. If there is a casket at the visitation, a standing spray or a wreath beside it is a traditional tribute, and close family often choose a casket spray. If the family has chosen cremation, the service may be a memorial with an urn and a photograph, and flowers that frame the urn or sit on a side table usually suit the room better than a large easel piece.
- Cremation and urn flowers are designed to surround an urn or a photograph. See cremation and urn flowers.
- Standing sprays stand on an easel beside the casket and suit co-workers, neighbours or a group. See standing sprays.
- Casket sprays rest on the casket and are usually chosen by the immediate family. See casket sprays.
- Wreaths are a traditional tribute from close family and friends. See wreaths.
- Vase and basket arrangements fit a side table and can go home with the family afterwards. See sympathy arrangements.

Flowers for the family at home
A memorial is sometimes held days or weeks after a death, and some families do not hold a service at all. In that case, a vase arrangement or a plant sent to the family's home is a gentle way to show you are thinking of them. We deliver to homes across Toronto; see our Toronto flower delivery page, or read sympathy plants or flowers: which to send.
