About the Bramalea Chapel

Andrews Community Funeral Centre has served Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area since 1995. It was founded by George Andrews, a licensed funeral director, and his wife Peggy, and it is easily reached from highways 401, 407 and 410. That makes it easy for relatives, friends and co-workers coming from across the GTA to attend a visitation.

Choosing a tribute

Standing sprays stand on an easel near the casket or at the front of the chapel and are a classic gift from a group. See standing sprays.

Colour and meaning

White is the most traditional colour for a funeral, and our white flowers include casket sprays, standing sprays and vase arrangements. Many families now also welcome soft pastels or the favourite colours of the person being remembered. If you are unsure, a white or cream tribute is always respectful.

Sending a group tribute

When a workplace, team or community group wants to send flowers together, one larger piece, such as a standing spray, usually makes a stronger statement than several small ones. Sign the card with the group's name, for example "With deepest sympathy from your friends at the office."

Flowers for the family at home
