About the hospital
North York General Hospital stands at 4001 Leslie Street in Toronto, at Sheppard Avenue East in the Bayview Village area. It is an acute care community academic hospital, with an emergency department, surgery, cancer care, maternal, neonatal and pediatric care, and mental health programs. It also has other sites across North York, so please check that your patient is at the Leslie Street site before you order.
Delivery to North York General
North York is in both of our delivery zones, so we can deliver to the hospital from Monday to Saturday and on Sundays too. Fresh flowers can go out the same day. Orders of $50 or more travel free, smaller orders add a $15 delivery fee, and an email lets you know when they have arrived. Hoping for a particular time? Please call 905-677-9999 before you order.

Check the unit first
Rules differ from one unit to the next and can change, and intensive care or a unit treating patients with weakened immune systems may say no to fresh flowers and plants. A word with the family or a call to the main line at 416-756-6000 settles it. If the answer is no, send the bouquet to the patient's home, so it is there when they get back.

A bedside table leaves little room, so a compact design in its own vase or basket is the easy choice, with a gentle scent for a shared room.
