Toronto Western Hospital Flower Delivery

Mystic Flowers delivers get well flowers, plants and cheerful arrangements to patients at Toronto Western Hospital. Our studio is in Mississauga, every arrangement is hand-arranged by our florists, and every order includes a free handwritten card.

About the hospital

Toronto Western Hospital stands at 399 Bathurst Street, at the corner of Dundas Street West, just west of Kensington Market. It opened in 1895 and is part of University Health Network, which also runs other hospitals in downtown Toronto, so please check that your patient is at the Bathurst Street site before you order. It is home to the Krembil Brain Institute and the Schroeder Arthritis Institute, and it also has surgery, critical care and eye care programs.

Delivery to Toronto Western

Toronto is in both of our delivery zones, so we deliver to the hospital from Monday to Saturday and on Sundays too. We offer same-day delivery of fresh flowers, delivery is free on orders of $50 or more, and orders under $50 have a $15 delivery fee. We email you as soon as your order has been delivered. If your flowers need to arrive at a set time, please call our studio at 905-677-9999 before you order.

What to include with your order

  • the patient's full name, as the hospital has it on record
  • Toronto Western Hospital, 399 Bathurst Street, Toronto, M5T 2S8
  • the unit or floor and the room number, if the family has shared them
  • your own phone number, in case we have a question
  • your card message, signed with your name

Check with the unit first

Patients here may be recovering from brain surgery or eye care, and critical care units in particular may not allow fresh flowers or plants at all. Each unit sets its own rules, and they can change. Ask the family before you order, or call the hospital switchboard at 416-603-5800. If flowers are not allowed, or your patient goes home soon, a bouquet delivered to their home is a lovely welcome back.

Something quiet for a long recovery

Recovery from surgery can be slow, and a room with bright lights and strong scents is not always restful. Choose soft colours and a gentle scent, and keep the design small enough for a crowded bedside table. A plant from our plants and succulents collection is a good choice once your patient is home, since it lasts well beyond the first week. For wording ideas, read our guide to get well flowers.

Choosing get well flowers

A compact design in its own vase or basket is the easiest to place. Browse our get well flowers and our flowers and gifts under $60, or read our article on sending flowers to someone in hospital. For the rest of the city, see our Toronto page or the full delivery map and zones.
