A busy home with five visitation rooms

With five visitation rooms, several families can be at the funeral home on the same day. Always use the full name of the person who has passed, exactly as it appears in the death notice, so your flowers reach the right room. If the visitation runs over two days, flowers that arrive before the first session are seen by the most guests.

Some families also choose a visitation at home. If the death notice says the family is receiving visitors at home, a vase arrangement or a plant sent to the house is the better choice.

Choosing a tribute

  • Standing sprays stand on an easel beside the casket and suit co-workers, neighbours or a group. See standing sprays.
  • Casket sprays rest on the casket and are usually chosen by the immediate family. See casket sprays.
  • Wreaths are a traditional tribute from close family and friends. See wreaths.
  • Vase and basket arrangements fit a side table, and the family can take them home afterwards. See sympathy arrangements.

White and cream are the most traditional sympathy colours, and our white flowers include sprays and vase designs.
