Ordering flowers for a service at Chapel Ridge

Funeral flowers are delivered directly to the funeral home, so you do not need to contact Chapel Ridge yourself. When you order, please include:

• the full name of the person who has passed

• the date and time of the visitation, service or celebration of life
• the drop-off time, in your order notes at checkout
• your message for the free handwritten card

Flowers for a cremation or memorial service

Because Chapel Ridge is a cremation centre as well as a funeral home, the service you are sending to may be a memorial where an urn and photographs are the focus instead of a casket. For these services, flowers are often placed around the urn or on a table near the photographs and the guest book.

• Sympathy arrangements. Arrangements in a basket, urn or vase suit a memorial table and can go home with the family afterwards.
• Standing sprays. A standing spray on an easel adds height beside the urn or a portrait, and it is a traditional tribute from friends, co-workers or a group.
• Wreaths and hearts. Wreaths and standing hearts are often sent by a spouse, children or grandchildren.

For a traditional funeral with a casket, the family usually chooses the casket spray, and our funeral packages match it with a standing spray and a wreath.

Colours that feel right

White flowers are calm and suit almost any service. Soft pinks and lavender are gentle, and red roses express deep love. Many families also welcome the person's favourite colour. Several of our wreaths and standing hearts can be made in the colours you choose.

Sending to the family in Markham or Richmond Hill

If you cannot attend, flowers delivered to the family home are a kind way to show you are thinking of them. Markham and Richmond Hill are both on our regular delivery routes. Delivery is free on orders of $50 or more, and every order includes a free handwritten card.
