Flowers for Glendale Funeral Home & Cemetery, Etobicoke

Mystic Flowers delivers sympathy flowers to Glendale Funeral Home & Cemetery, an Arbor Memorial location at 1810 Albion Road in north Etobicoke, close to Rexdale and Thistletown. Our florists arrange each tribute by hand in our Mississauga studio, and a handwritten card is included free.

A funeral home and a cemetery on one site

Glendale has its funeral home and cemetery on the same grounds, at the corner of Albion Road and Highway 27. A family may hold a visitation, a service and a burial all in one place, so there are a few questions worth asking before you order. Is the service in the funeral home or at the graveside? Will the flowers stay in the building, or go on to the cemetery afterwards? The family or the funeral director will know. Glendale also offers cremation, so the service may centre on an urn rather than a casket.

Delivery to Glendale

North Etobicoke is part of Toronto, which is in both of our delivery zones, so we can deliver here from Monday to Saturday and on Sundays too. Same-day delivery is available for fresh flowers. Orders of $50 or more are delivered free, and smaller orders have a $15 delivery fee. Funeral flowers go straight to the funeral home, so please put the drop-off time in your order notes at checkout. We email you once they have been delivered.

What to tell us when you order

  • the full name of the person being remembered
  • Glendale Funeral Home & Cemetery, 1810 Albion Road, Etobicoke, M9W 5T1
  • the date and time of the visitation, service or burial
  • the drop-off time, in the order notes at checkout
  • your card message, signed so the family knows who it is from

Not sure of the timing? Call our studio at 905-677-9999 and we will help you plan the delivery.

What suits each part of the day

For a visitation or a service indoors, standing sprays stand on an easel and suit a gift from a group, wreaths are a traditional choice from close family and friends, and casket sprays are usually chosen by the immediate family.

For a graveside gathering, flowers spend their time outdoors, so a piece on an easel is often easier to place than a vase. In the colder months, ask the family whether the flowers should stay inside instead. Our guide to winter flower care explains how the cold affects fresh flowers.

If the family has chosen cremation, a vase arrangement beside the urn is a gentle choice, and they can take it home afterwards. See our sympathy arrangements and our guide to flowers for a cremation or memorial service.

Flowers for the family at home

Sometimes the kindest flowers arrive after the service, when the house has gone quiet. We deliver to homes across Rexdale and Thistletown and the rest of Etobicoke. Our guide to sympathy plants or flowers can help you choose.
